"james lewis lays the voodoo down" February 22 listening tour
I took my last "listening tour" after the election. Now what’s blowing in the wind is passionate talk about the need for defenders of the American Revolution. Positing the threat of an authoritarian Leftist government trashing the Constitution like it was government housing. KurtP at A trainwreck in Maxwell noted last week the 67th anniversary of Executive Order # 9066. “This order forced thousands into detention camps so as to better monitor their activity.”
The Democrats proclivity to "Do Something" even if it’s wrong leads some to consider them rounding up political opponents. I think if anyone gets rounded up, it'll be them. I have not heard or read one military man or woman say they would fire on the American people. All speak of the Constitution and their duty to protect it. The smart thing to do would be to stand with (or behind) these patriots. February 17 the drum answersFebruary 16 ugliest wordFebruary 15 back from the front? Are you back from Iraq or Afgahnistan where you served in the US Military? Do you have skills as a rapper? Do you have a story to tell about serving your country? If so, please send me something to listen to. I would like to collaborate with you to tell your story, and perhaps save Hip-Hop. word16drum@msn.com February 11 punch-line stimulus
(Putin denies dancing to ABBA) How many jokes have been made with the Dem’s “Stimulus Package”? a billion? no way. a million? Maybe. A billion, let alone a trillion, is beyond my grasp. How about you? With over 6 billion earthlings, and words getting ’lost in translation,' it could be...
BARBIE ORGASMA, has a new reality show featuring her band: Barbie and the Stimulus Package.
Billions of pills! John Q Jones is all jacked-up. He wants passage of his stimulus package. Mrs. Jones lost her job today. She rolls over and says:
"Not tonight, I have a headache."
February 08 my Suns: can I pick a winner!? a winner!?
Mitt then McCain
(because I'm a sinner?)
but what drives me insane
is the team with this name:
my team ain't beginners
just not winners
they've had their runs
I'm mad when they lose
like you tried to
take away my guns
new Suns shine
while old ones fade
so much talent, not enough baskets made
not through the hoop!?...for what they're paid!?
the heart of the Suns is Amare
...but I'm sorry
now the old pros
show how it goes
Grant Hill and Shaq
lead the attack
it happened so fast
The Blurr came back...
In battle loss occurs
tell it to the Spurs!
February 04 on the oneYou usually need a big ego to succeed. Attention is gained with a bold stroke(not for NPR listeners). I admire those who assert themselves to the limit, whose power is matched with their confidence. I want to play with a drummer who has a big ego. When they hit the drums it’s like a king (or a Jones). What is Tony Williams but an explosion of the will!?

for a good time January 26 new media: the next levelIf society doesn’t break down, we're going to need a new media outlet. I suggest something like a conservative NPR. An Anti-NPR. But as well produced as them. Where they are dry and boring, our Radio Liberty should be funny and interesting to conservatives not liberals. I love good radio, but let’s face it, TV is the battlefield that must be entered, and a battle waged for the mind and soul of the average American. Last year I attempted to produce some shows for local TV. In my town the local channel is controlled by a bunch of whacked out freaks. I wanted to run Robert Spencer’s Jihad Watch videos. This was before they were picked up by Hot Air. As well as shows featuring Dr. Zuhdi Jasser and Uncle Jimbo from Black Five. Uncle Jimbo is an outstanding broadcaster and one of my favorites in New Media. I had to join the board of the local station to be a producer. Looking at the members, I could see that they would never do anything I proposed. They will continue to feature New Age creeps, UFO nuts. and Amy Goodman’s Democracy Now(Communism Later). The new media outlet must start on the web. But the goal is somewhere on Basic Cable. It won’t be conservativism driving the channel, but quality. Old fashioned broadcasting standards. Professional broadcasters, actors, writers and producers. Deep voices, well modulated, speaking without hesitation or errors. Joel Surnow tried to create a comedy show for Fox News. It was a good effort, but it’s failure should not deter him, and others from trying again. Humor is too serious to be left to liberals. That’s my battlefield. A massive attack is needed. An alternative to Fox News is also necessary. We can build on their success. I can’t stand O’Reilly and many of the others there. Shlep Smith ain’t a conservative. Let’s give liberal pukes a real target.
January 25 conservative guiltYou might ask why, for the last three years, have I been harping on mostly the same issues? I have Conservative Guilt. Shelby Steele explained White Guilt. Many others have diagnosed Liberal Guilt. Conservatives like me, who are converts, have our own guilt issues.
I always respected the military. The excellence and bond of the soldier was clear and admirable. I was never a pacifist but I bought into the Left's agenda of opposing all US military action. Never a commited communist(I thought it would never play in America), though I did support it in Central America and other places. I was so smart, I thought the American people were either too stupid to have Democratic Socialism, like in Europe. Or The State would surely crush a Leftist movement. As a kid, the war in Vietnam was very black and white. Now thinking about those who fought that war, I see more the shades of grey, and the colors which blaze the brightest are Red, White and Blue. We were lied to by many in "The Anti-War Movement" (Winter Soldier). Along with slavery, the treatment of the Vietnam Veterans can be added to the List Of Shame for this country. As a musician straight out of Detroit, I grew up on Black Music. I got over my racism at 5, and have been let into the Black Community my whole life: through The Music. America has always had a Black soul. Not that other groups lack soul. This is a tricky area to talk about, but I think we've found this out around the late 1990s. I was in exile at the time. All reports seem to show blacks moving up and outside of ghettos, they were somewhat content. Our unity was most clear in the dark days after 9/11. Gospel music rang from the churches and memorial services. Soothing the soul of a grieving nation and the individuals who lost loved ones. So I have no White or Liberal Guilt. I was wrong about Socialism and the existence of evil in the world. Consevative Guilt is easily eradicated. It's so simple to try and be a Patriot, and to support the certain Patriots who would even give their lives to protect others and a young country with so much freedom and promise.
January 23 "kill your parents"The mystic of the 60s is so dead. Self-styled revolutionaries like Bill Ayers were a bunch of sick f-ck spoiled pukes. The music was great. There will never be a time like the late 60s. When Rock and Roll became Rock. There was a window there when anything was possible. Hendrix took the flame from Coltrane as musical high priest, and holder of the eternal energy of life and the universe. But it’s all subjective.
It dispersed and his music has become a category in itself. For me, starting in the Grunge Era, the spirit of Rock was reborn and developed further. I never went with the whole “Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll,” thing. I’m OK with the first two but my parent’s music was Rock and Roll(back then), my music was Rock. I am an advocate of “The Generation Gap.” All these Boomers making little liberals is why we are so f-cked. Bill Ayers said “Kill Your Parents.” That was a bit extreme but one should cut the cord sometime. Not with just music and fashion, but where it really counts: ideas. Their “ideas” back then were communism. Don't go there. That sh-t will kill you or make you wish you were dead. You can dig the music boys and girls just forget the rest. January 20 choke-pointThis is my blog (bullshit-log). It’s my bullshit. It never forgets 9/11 or those who serve in the military. I try to make it funny but it’s not always possible. Question: When did you choke up during the inauguration? I liked the music and was glad that Aretha performed. But what choked me up was seeing W wave goodbye after the ceremony. It's a gift to be simple...I was concerned to see Cheney in a wheelchair. Hate me but I love Dick Cheney. What an amazing career of service to the nation. I am called Word-Drum, but outside of great writing or rapping, I don't love words like the Talkers(Democrats). After 9/11 President Bush said the right things, and more importantly Bush and Cheney did the right things. Must I say that mistakes are made in war!? F-ck that.
January 19 two honorable menThank you for your service Mr. President. God Bless you and your family and I wish you many more years to get over all the stab wounds in your strong back. Thank you for getting Saddam and for every dead jihadi. For every silenced voice by the killers and oppressors, you were an answer to their prayers. We will miss you.

January 11 party animalsHere comes another Democrat party. There are so many since liberals love to regularly give themselves awards. It's another excuse for a fabulous party. Now they have won the biggest prize. Some of us are wondering about another kind of celebration. True, liberals have had a great victory, but so have our troops in Iraq. Will the new era, with it’s many links to the past of the 1960s and 70s treat our returning victorious troops like we treated the Vietnam veterans? Word-Drum says: Don't let it happen again.
Let the lights and cameras flash on them, I could care less about the Hollywood idiots. They never gave me any movies about the heroic struggle of our troops in Iraq. I had to create them in my own imagination, since Hollywood is hopelessly filled with limited creativity and heart. They are constrained by liberalism and spreading it like a disease. After the party, when we go back to our daily routines, the energy of the celebration will continue and keep us off that fatal road of disrespect. This American needs to show respect and love for our outstanding military (but not in a "gays-in-the-military" way). It would do them and me, a lot of good. Let us welcome home the troops and finally welcome home the Vietnam Vets too. But for now we will all see the big party in DC. Not all of us will be filled with joy and excitement. I will be thinking of my party and what is in store for those I wish to celebrate. And what’s in store for all of us in a world run by liberals. Will our liberty survive? Will the killers for Islam prevail? Will the Muslims and the Left be celebrating soon at the destruction of Israel and then America?
